Step 1: Light the Charcoal
Hold the charcoal disc securely with metal tongs.
Using a lighter or torch, hold the flame against the edge of the charcoal disc until it begins to spark. You may notice the sparks slowly moving across the surface of the charcoal.
The charcoal does not need to have a visible flame. Once it begins sparking, it is lighting properly.
Step 2: Place the Charcoal in the Burner
Continue holding the charcoal with the metal tongs and carefully place it inside your heat-safe resin burner.
Make sure the charcoal is positioned securely inside the burner before releasing it from the tongs.
Step 3: Let the Charcoal Heat
Allow the charcoal to heat for approximately three to five minutes.
The charcoal should begin glowing and develop a light layer of ash across the surface. Waiting is important because placing the resin onto charcoal too early may prevent it from warming evenly and releasing its full fragrance.
Step 4: Add the Frankincense Resin
Once the charcoal is hot and lightly covered with ash, place one to three pieces of premium frankincense resin directly onto the charcoal.
You do not need a large amount. A few pieces are usually enough to begin filling your room with the natural aroma of frankincense.
Start with one piece and add more depending on the size of your room and how strong you would like the fragrance to be.
Step 5: Enjoy the Aroma
As the resin warms, it will begin releasing its rich, natural fragrance.
